Klassik 2.0

With the highest artistic standards and innovative formats, we create special moments that touch, connect, and inspire—and give young and freelance artists a stage for the future.

Following the sold-out Klassik 2.0 Festival in October 2025, Julian Schad will perform on February 14, 2026, accompanied by the Classical 2.0 Quartet, consisting of Anjulie Chen (piano), Francois Thirault (solo cello) and Christian Atanasiu (solo viola) and Emmanuel Hahn (violin) from the Munich Radio Orchestra. Let yourself be transported to the French capital in the first part of the concert with Gabriel Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1, Op. 15.

For the second half, we welcome world-class soprano Clara Orif from Paris, who knows how to enchant audiences with French chansons. From Jacques Offenbach to Edith Piaf and “La vie en rose” – Paris meets Lake on Valentine’s Day at the Marstall in Berg, followed by the legendary afterparty with DJ NAS.

The musician behind it

Julian Schad is a versatile, authentic musician with heart. After graduating with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London, he performed in venues such as the Elbphilharmonie, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall. Influenced by music from an early age, he played the violin, drums, trumpet, and piano—always supported by his close connection to his four siblings. Today, he is a concert violinist, concertmaster, and chamber musician, as well as an initiator of new formats. With “Klassik 2.0 / Club,” he has been bringing classical music to the stage in fresh contexts since 2024.
